McAuley Ruled Out of Northern Ireland Squad - Ipswich Town News
The Northern Irish FA have confirmed that Town defender Gareth McAuley has been ruled out of next Wednesday's friendly against Morocco in Belfast.
The former Blues skipper, who was subbed in the second half of Town's 2-0 defeat to Derby on Tuesday, is rated as a big doubt ahead of Saturday's home game against Barnsley due to achilles tendinitis.
Current captain David Norris is also expected miss out with his ankle injury, while Grant Leadbitter is suspended after reaching his fifth booking for the season.
