Reserves Lose Friendly at Norwich - Ipswich Town News
A Town reserves side including Jaime Peters, Luciano Civelli, Shane O’Connor and Ronan Murray lost 2-0 at Norwich City in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Tuesday afternoon.
The Canaries netted a goal in the first half and another in the final few minutes of the second period to seal the victory over Chris Kiwomya’s side.
The match had been arranged as the Blues are without a Totesport.com Football Combination East Division fixture until December 7th when they travel to Luton, the December 1st match against Southend at Portman Road having been postponed because of a clash with the Carling Cup quarter-final against West Brom.
Norwich withdrew from the reserve league in the summer and their second string are only playing friendlies this season.
