Fülöp Starts for Hungary - Ipswich Town News

Town keeper Márton Fülöp has been named in Hungary’s starting XI for their friendly with Lithuania in Budapest this evening. Blues striker Tamás Priskin will be on the bench.

Fülöp will be winning his 22nd cap, while Priskin will be looking to add to his seven goals in 29 Hungary appearances if he gets on.

The pair were watched by international manager Sándor Egervári during the Blues’ recent 2-0 victory over Millwall: "It was pleasing to see that both players were in the team and both performed well in the clash.

"Priskin assisted for the first goal and for the second the foul was committed against him for Ipswich's penalty. He was clearly the dominant player for his team and did much help his side win."

Meanwhile, Town defender Troy Brown has been named amongst the subs for the Wales U21 friendly with Austria at Newport this evening. If he comes on, Brown will win his first cap at U21 level.

Loanee defender Darren O'Dea is amongst a number of other Town players in international action this evening.

Hungary: Márton Fülöp, Pál Lázár, Zoltán Lipták, Roland Juhász, Zsolt Laczkó, Péter Czvitkovics, Vladimir Koman, Ákos Elek, Balázs Dzsudzsák, Gergely Rudolf, Ádám Szalai.
