Youth Cup Date Set - Ipswich Town News
Town's FA Youth Cup tie against Peterborough United will be played at Portman Road on Thursday 25th November (KO 7pm). Posh's U18s defeated Midland Football Alliance side Stratford Town 5-0 in their second round tie at London Road on Tuesday evening.
Peterborough's squad includes former Town schoolboys Josh Capocci and Nathan Ralph, who will be looking to impress when they face their old club.
Last season the young Blues reached the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup before being knocked out by Fulham, having defeated Arsenal in the previous round. Town have won the competition three times, in 1973, 1975 and 2005.
