Keeper Márton Fülöp as emerged as a new injury doubt ahead of Wednesday’s Carling Cup quarter-final against West Brom. The Hungarian international suffered an ankle injury in the weekend defeat at Norwich.
Manager Roy Keane told the club site that the former Sunderland man’s fitness will become clearer on Tuesday: "Márton is a concern. We will know more tomorrow."
Fülöp is yet to play in the Carling Cup for Town with Brian Murphy having been in goal for the games at Exeter, Crewe, Millwall and at home to Northampton.
Already on the sidelines with injury are Gareth McAuley (achilles), Luke Hyam (hamstring), Connor Wickham (thigh), Tom Eastman (groin) and Mark Kennedy (hamstring), while loanees Gianni Zuiverloon, Jack Colback, Jake Livermore and Rory Fallon are unavailable having played for their parent clubs in the competition already this season.
Meanwhile, the Blues have confirmed that they will not be appealing against Damien Delaney’s red card at Norwich. The Irishman will serve his one-match ban on Wednesday.
