Pablo Loan to Be Cut Short? - Ipswich Town News
Crystal Palace could look to cut Town frontman Pablo Couñago’s season-long loan short, according to a report in London. The Spanish striker has scored only twice in 11 starts and six sub appearances since moving to Selhurst Park in August.
The 31-year-old is due to remain with George Burley’s Eagles until the end of his Town contract in June and the Blues are unlikely to want him to return. Manager Roy Keane has already said he’ll be looking for new additions to his striking ranks when the transfer window opens in January.
Meanwhile, Real Zaragoza manager Javier Aguirre wants to sign former Town loanee Giovani Dos Santos from Spurs in January: "Gio could be a very important part of my plans," said the La Liga club's boss.
