Wright Back? - Ipswich Town News

A dramatic twist this evening to the Town goalkeeper hassle with the news that the England U21s' match with Yugoslavia in Luxembourg has been postponed. The play-off which had already been cut from two legs to one was hit by security problems and will now be staged at a later date. The postponement may mean that Richard Wright takes his place in goal after all. No doubt this will be confirmed one way or the other tomorrow.

The latest David Johnson news is that Wales now say they don't want him. This is apparently due to a FIFA threat to their national side if they do pick the multi-international. This is curious as FIFA statements last week (after Scotland's error regarding his eligibility) said he was available for Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England. No doubt they'll realise their error in a couple of days.
