Aalborg Confirm Town Interest - Ipswich Town News
Danish club AaB Aalborg have confirmed that Town have shown "firm interest" in their defender/midfielder Thomas Gaardsoe. The club today made a statement to the Danish stock market and a deal looks likely this week.
It seems Town have offered £1 million for the 21-year-old while the Danish club want £1.3 million.
Gaardsoe iniitially established himself as a midfielder but more recently has enjoyed a successful spell at central defence.
Town were first linked with him in June when the Blues had representatives watching him play for the Danish U21 side against Malta. He was watched again yesterday as Aalborg won 3-1.
