Town have confirmed that coaches Tony Loughlan and Ian ‘Charlie’ McParland have left the club.
The pair joined Town under Roy Keane’s management and it is little surprise that they have departed in the wake of the former boss’s sacking last week.
Chief executive Simon Clegg paid tribute to the duo: "I'd like to thank both Tony and Charlie for their commitment to Ipswich Town during their time at the football club and wish them every success for the future.”
Loughlan, who has been close to Keane since their time together at Nottingham Forest, joined Town when the Irishman came to the club in April 2009 and McParland was added to the staff seven months later.
While TWTD understands that reserves coach Chris Kiwomya will remain at Portman Road, there is as yet no news on goalkeeping-coach Jim Hollman and fitness coaches Antonio Gomez and Simon Thadani.
