Arsenal Away Leg Sells Out - Ipswich Town News

Town have sold their entire allocation of 9,000 tickets for the second leg of the Carling Cup semi-final at Arsenal on Tuesday 25th January. The final 1,100 seats at the Emirates went on sale this morning and were quickly snapped up with queues outside the ground and the Portman Road phonelines jammed.

Ticket office manager John Ford told the club site: "The game is a complete sell-out now, with Arsenal selling up at their end and the last 1,000 or so tickets going to our fans in the first hour this morning.

"We actually received 27,701 calls on our hotline number in the first hour, so that shows the demand.

"Our allocation is 8,944 tickets for the game. They have all gone and there are supporters going on corporate packages with the club as well, so there will be over 9,000 Town fans at the Emirates."

The match will be Town’s first ever visit to the Emirates.
