Livermore Set for Surgery - Ipswich Town News

Loan midfielder Jake Livermore’s spell with the Blues looks to have come to an end with the 21-year-old appearing likely to need groin surgery. Livermore, who has been back at Spurs since picking up the injury, was due to remain with Town until January 25th.

Boss Paul Jewell said: "Jake is back with Tottenham and I'm told that he could possibly need surgery on a double hernia which will keep him out for a while.”

Livermore, who has made eight starts and four sub appearances for the Blues, is currently awaiting the results of a scan which will determine whether he requires the operation.
