Boss Paul Jewell says he has received enquiries about taking one or two of his younger players on loan and plans to send some of them out to gain experience.
Jewell said: "We’ve had one or two enquiries, but nothing’s come of it so far. We want to make sure it’s a club which gives them a chance. It’s no good them going out on loan and not playing somewhere else.
"If they can go out and see what it’s like a bit lower down where it’s not as posh or comfortable as this place, it might open their eyes and they’ll think they want to make sure they’re here rather than training on public parks and washing their own kit. A lot of clubs have to put up with that.”
The likes of Reggie Lambe, Ronan Murray, Billy Clark, Jack Ainsley, Ian McLoughlin, Jamie Griffiths, David Cawley, Luke Hyam and Tom Eastman could be amongst those the Blues boss looks to find temporary clubs.
All of those players are on the list of players who are out of contract in the summer and Jewell says their situations will be looked at in due course: "It’s something we have to address and we have to be fair to everyone, but it’s a case of trying to balance so many balls in the air at the moment.
"I think the players deserve great credit because no one’s coming in and knocking on the door, everyone’s coming in every day and training hard.
"I’ve been honest with them about their situations those that have asked me and I’ll continue to do that. Somewhere along the line I’ll have to address of having so many contracts up. It’s not ideal and hopefully it won’t happen again.”
