Drury in Reserves Facing Oxford - Ipswich Town News

New signing Andy Drury is set to make his first appearance in a Town shirt this evening when the reserves face Oxford United at Didcot's Loop Meadow (KO 7pm). Luciano Civelli, who made his first team return after 23 months as a sub on Saturday, and Tommy Smith are the other senior players in the travelling party.

Drury, 27, joined the Blues from Luton for £150,000 last week but was left out of the 18 for Saturday's home victory over Sheffield United.

Luke Hyam, Tom Eastman, Reggie Lambe and Ronan Murray are also in this evening's squad facing an Oxford team which is currently top of the Totesport.com Football Combination East Division and which won 2-0 at Portman Road earlier in the season.

Boss Paul Jewell and coach Sean McCarthy are making the trip to run the rule over Chris Kiwomya’s team. Assistant manager Chris Hutchings is in Dublin watching the Carling Nations Cup matches.
