Swansea: Nothing New on Scotland Move - Ipswich Town News
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins says his club have made no new move for Town striker Jason Scotland. The Swans made moves to take their former frontman on loan last week but Blues boss Paul Jewell dismissed their offer as “nowhere near” what Town would accept.
Jenkins said: "[Manager] Brendan [Rodgers] had some tentative chats with Ipswich to see if something could be done, but nothing has moved on from there.
"If you ask Brendan, he will tell you that he has been looking at a few options aimed at bringing in one or two new faces in to help us over the next few months.
"But what is most important is keeping the current squad together and happy and making sure everyone is concentrating 100% on the games we have ahead."
Scotland could return to the Town starting line-up at Doncaster this evening having netted when coming on as a sub at Barnsley on Saturday.
