Lavery Returns for U18s - Ipswich Town News
Northern Ireland U21 international striker Caolan Lavery is set to make his return for Town’s U18s this morning when they face Chelsea at their Cobham training ground (KO 11am). The Canadian-born frontman has been out of action since suffering a knee ligament injury in the FA Youth Cup defeat to Peterborough United in November.
Lavery, 18, will be on the bench for this morning's game, while the U18s are still without Norwegian central defender Nicolay Schrøder, who has tendinitis. Welsh U17 international midfielder Elliot Scotcher misses today’s game with a knock.
U18s squad: Cropper, Bennett, Whight, Jones, Maduako, Meekings, McKeown, Winter, Burke, Carson, Tiofack, Lavery, Acott, Lawrence, Simmons, Marriott.
