Jewell Watches Derby-Doncaster - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Paul Jewell was spotted back at his former club Derby County this evening as the Rams lost 3-1 at home to Doncaster Rovers.
With new frontmen very much on his summer wish-list, Doncaster striker Billy Sharp will have caught the eye, scoring twice, as he did at Portman Road in the Blues’ 3-2 victory over Rovers in January.
Meanwhile, next Tuesday's home game against Reading is definitely still on after the Royals defeated Everton 1-0 in their FA Cup fifth round tie at Goodison Park.
If the game had ended in a draw, the replay would have been played next Tuesday, causing the postponement of Reading's visit to Portman Road.
