Confirmation today that pitch-hugging winger Bobby Petta has joined Celtic on a Bosman rule free transfer. The knockabout Dutchman had previously told Town he wouldn't be rejoining the club this season after completing his contract. Bobby spent three years at Town after joining on a free transfer from Feyenoord. After a dreadful first season he enjoyed an excellent second year even scoring twice in the 5-0 victory over Norwich. His third year was more difficult with contract wrangles and a loss of form leading to a hostile reaction from sections of the crowd. A move elsewhere seemed inevitable for the temperamental Dutchman.
