McParland Joins Swindon - Ipswich Town News
Former Blues caretaker-manager Ian McParland has been named the assistant boss of Swindon Town. McParland, one of Roy Keane’s coaches, left the club during January’s managerial change around but not before masterminding the 1-0 Carling Cup semi-final first leg triumph over Arsenal.
McParland will be working under new Robins boss Paul Hart, who has taken over from Danny Wilson, who resigned on Wednesday.
