Jewell Dismisses King Link - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Paul Jewell says he has made no contact with either Marlon King’s agent or Coventry City regarding the controversial striker. One of this morning’s papers claimed the Blues were eyeing the Jamaican international frontman.
Jewell said: "I tried to sign Marlon King when I was at Derby, but I haven’t made any enquiries to Coventry or his agent.
"His agent might have made a call to someone but I haven’t had any contact. I don’t want to say it’s nonsense, it’s just not true.”
