Carson in Northern Irish Squad - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Josh Carson has been named in the Northern Ireland U19 squad for two home friendlies with Slovakia next month. Carson has previously won caps at U21 level.
The 17-year-old will join up with the Northern Irish youngsters on Sunday 10th April with the first match the following day and the second on the 13th.
Carson, who is not in Town's U18 side for tomorrow's game with Coventry, is close to making his first team debut and could be in the squad for tomorrow’s home game with Scunthorpe having travelled to Leeds with the first team last week.
