Town Linked With Dundee United Winger - Ipswich Town News
Town are targeting Dundee United winger Craig Conway, according to reports in Scotland. The 25-year-old is also understood to be interesting SPL giants Rangers.
Irvine-born Conway started his career at Ayr United where he made his debut in the 2003 season before going on to make 56 starts and 17 sub appearances, scoring nine goals.
The 5ft 6in tall wideman moved on to Dundee United at the end of his contract in June 2006 and has subsequently made 125 starts and 32 appearances from the bench, scoring 15 goals, including two in last season’s 3-0 Scottish Cup final victory over Ross County.
Primarily right-sided but happy on either flank, Conway, who has won two full Scotland caps, is out of contract at the end of the season. Middlesbrough and Cardiff have previously shown interest in the midfielder.

Blackburn Rovers 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match AbandonedTown look set to face a return trip to Blackburn Rovers later in the season after this afternoon’s game was abandoned after 80 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch with the home side 1-0 up and with the Blues down to 10 men. Jacob Greaves was shown a straight red card four minutes after the break for hauling down Yuki Ohashi, then Rovers skipper Todd Cantwell netted a penalty on 59, but the heavy rain had made the game increasingly farcical the longer it progressed and in the 80th minute referee Stephen Martin took the players off and then 25 minutes later abandoned it entirely.
