Fülöp Praise for Bullard Impact - Ipswich Town News
Town keeper Márton Fülöp has praised the impact made by loan midfielder Jimmy Bullard since he arrived at Portman Road from Hull City in January. Fülöp is currently away with the Hungary squad ahead of Tuesday’s Euro 2012 qualifier in Holland.
The former Sunderland man said: "Jimmy Bullard's arrival was very good for our team, he has quickly become an important member of the side."
Fülöp says inconsistency has been the Blues' big problem this season: "We win, then we lose, then we win again - we're not very balanced.
"At the beginning of the season our goal was to win the promotion, which was a real target for us and we started very well.”
The 27-year-old says he hopes to return to the top flight at some stage of his career: "I think I will play in the Premier League again.
"In my opinion, I performed well the last time I was there and that is the place I would like to play again."
Fülöp, who signed from the Black Cats for £750,000 last summer, has another year remaining on his Town contract.
