Freedman: Wright Return Rumours Wrong - Ipswich Town News

Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman has dismissed reports linking former Blue David Wright with a return to Portman Road. Wright, who is currently playing in central midfield for the Eagles, moved to Selhurst Park in the summer having been released by the Blues.

Freedman said: "David’s defensive qualities give us something to bounce off and a platform to build on.

"He’s a good character and a good leader. He is definitely someone who is in my thoughts. I’ve not heard about any interest from Ipswich.”
