Jewell Confirms Edwards is Staying at Town - Ipswich Town News
Blues boss Paul Jewell has confirmed that midfielder-turned-right-back Carlos Edwards has triggered a clause meaning he will spend another year with the Blues, as reported by TWTD in January.
Jewell confirmed that the appearance clause had been activated: "That happened after the Doncaster game. He automatically gets another year.”
The 32-year-old Trinidad and Tobago international joined Town from Sunderland for £1.35 million in August 2009.
