U18s at Southampton - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s are in action away against Southampton on Saturday (KO noon). The youngsters are again set to be without either of their regular keepers.
Cody Cropper is with the US squad at the CONCACAF U20 World Cup qualifying tournament in Guatemala and was on the bench for their 4-0 victory over Surinam on Wednesday. The young Americans face Panama in their second and final group game tomorrow.
Irish first-year scholar Conor O’Donnell (pictured), Cropper’s usual deputy, has a shoulder injury and trialist Jack Boyd, who played in last week’s 3-3 draw at the MK Dons, may again be involved. Boyd previously had time on trial at Yeovil.
