Luton Left-Sider Linked - Ipswich Town News
Town, Charlton and Peterborough are reported to be weighing up whether to make a summer move for Luton left winger or left-back Jake Howells. The Blues will certainly have been represented at Kenilworth Road this season with Andy Drury signing from the Blue Square Bet Premier side in January for £150,000.
After a spell as a youngster at Watford, Howells progressed through the ranks at Luton and is contracted to the Hatters until the summer of 2012.
The 19-year-old has made 77 starts and 39 sub appearances, scoring eight goals, since making his first team bow in May 2008. He has also made four England C (non-league national side) appearances, scoring one goal.
