Problem Moving Man U Game - Ipswich Town News

Town may have difficulty in having the Manchester United game moved from Saturday 22nd September to Sunday 23rd. The morning of the Sunday sees the Manchester Marathon which runs along Sir Matt Busby Way at the front of the ground.

With the Torpedo Moscow game moved to the preceding Thursday the Blues hope to have the United game switched, however sources in Manchester told TWTD that might prove impossible.

The latest John Wark column is up on the site. We spoke to John prior to yesterday's tragic events and the subsequent changes to Town's fixture list. Wark talks about Robbie Savage, Matteo Sereni, the UEFA Cup reunion, a trip to Colchester United and Liverpool's success in the Maters Tournament. Read it at http://www.twtd.co.uk/warkytalky
