Jewell Set to Talk to O\'Dea About Future - Ipswich Town News
Paul Jewell says he will speak to on-loan Celtic defender Darren O’Dea in the next fortnight regarding the Irish international’s future. The Dubliner has been on loan at Portman Road for the season but has been in and out of the side under Jewell and former manager Roy Keane.
Jewell said: "I’ve spoken to his agent a couple of times and I’ve said I’ll sit down with Darren in the next couple of weeks and see what’s going to happen there.”
The 24-year-old, who recently said he thought he’d be returning to Celtic in the summer, is contracted to the Glasgow giants until 2013.
Meanwhile, Carlisle's Nahki Wells has revealed that his fellow Bermudian Reggie Lambe almost joined him at Brunton Park before moving to Bristol Rovers on loan last month: "It was almost possible that Reggie came over here on loan for the rest of the season, but it didn’t work out and he went to Bristol Rovers.”
