Murray Offered Deal - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Paul Jewell has revealed that Republic of Ireland U21 international striker Ronan Murray has been offered a new contract. The 19-year-old is currently on loan at League Two Torquay United.
Jewell says Murray was offered new terms some time back: "Ronan was offered something quite a while ago.”
The Blues boss says he’s still to speak to a number of first and second-year pros whose terms are up in the summer: "There’s Tom Eastman, Jack Ainsley, Conor Hourihane, Luke Hyam, Reggie Lambe, Troy Brown and one or two others who are the list that I’ll be speaking to on a one-to-one basis like I did with Billy Clark last week.”
Midfielders David Cawley and Jamie Griffiths, who are both out injured at present, are also amongst those yet to learn their fate.
