Town Draw Crewe - Ipswich Town News
Away supporters will be chuffed to hear that Town have drawn Crewe at Gresty Road in the Worthington Cup Third Round. The tie will take place in the week commencing October 8th.
Jermaine Wright is probably pleased with the draw as he joined Town from Crewe two and a bit years ago.
The Railwaymen were a bit of a thorn in Town's side during the latter stages of the First Division years. A 2-1 loss at home was a massive blow at the end of the 98/99 season and it was Dario Gradi's men who put Town out of the Worthington Cup during the next season.
