Player of the Year Voting Open - Ipswich Town News
Online voting has opened for this season’s Supporters’ Club Player of the Year award. The winner will be handed his gong at the annual Players’ Awards Evening on Saturday at Greshams Sports and Social Club (6.30pm to midnight).
You can register your vote here or alternatively around the ground at Saturday’s game against Preston North End. Online voting closes on Friday.
Tickets costing £17 (including buffet) are still available for the Awards Evening from Liz Edwards by email here. The dress code is smart casual.
The event is a chance to meet the first team squad and coaching staff and see presentations to the Player of the Year, the season’s debutants and the Academy Player of the Year.
Last year's Player of the Year award went to Gareth McAuley with his central defensive partner Damien Delaney second and loan midfielder Jack Colback third. The Sunderland man picked up the Players' Player of the Year, while Tom Eastman won the Dale Roberts Trophy for the Academy Player of the Year.
