Town Should Look to Emulate Norwich - Ipswich Town News
Boss Paul Jewell says Town have got to take Norwich City’s promotion to the Premier League on the chin and look to emulate them next season.
Jewell said: "Let’s be honest about it, I think Norwich have been terrific this season. I think the manager’s done really well.
"You have to be magnanimous and you have to give Norwich great credit for what they’ve done, the manager’s done great, the players have done great.
"When I went to watch them play Bristol City I thought that they’ve got it going there, the atmosphere at the ground was terrific and that’s what we want to do next season, although obviously there are no guarantees.
"I think we’ve got to be men about it and say ‘well done’ and hopefully we can do that next season. I know it will be hard for Ipswich fans to take, but the most important thing is Ipswich not Norwich and if we can improve and have a successful season, then that will be great.”
