Coventry defender Gary Breen is gettin ghis regualr six monthly link with Town. The Irishman has long been rumoured to be a target of George Burley, even back to First Division days.
Now, the 27-year-old is said to be refusing to sign a new contract until the Sky Blues settle down. Since relegation the club has been in crisis culminating in the departure of Gordon Strachan last week.
Breen, rated at £4 million, is set for talks with chairman Bryan Richardson, but if these fail Town, along with West Ham and Charlton, are said to be interested in the player.
Breen has played 38 times for Ireland and has scored 5 goals.
