Win Balcony Tickets for UEFA Cup Celebrations - Ipswich Town News

Courtesy of the club, TWTD readers have the chance to win five pairs of balcony tickets for the after-meal presentations at the gala dinner celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Blues' 1981 UEFA Cup win at the Town Hall next Monday.

Blues legends John Wark, Paul Mariner, George Burley, Paul Cooper, Russell Osman, Eric Gates and Frans Thijssen have already confirmed their attendance at the event with other members of Sir Bobby Robson’s team and the UEFA Cup itself also expected to be present.

The night will feature an auction with prizes including signed footballs from the 1981 team and the chance to win an executive box for 10 at a Town game next season.

Legendary local broadcaster Stuart Jarrold will be hosting the evening and will be interviewing all of the players after the meal. Any profits will go to the ITFC Charitable Trust.

To win one of the five pairs of tickets, tell us how many goals John Wark scored in the 1981 UEFA Cup campaign, send it to this address by midday on Thursday and then be lucky enough to have your email selected at random.

The winners must collect their tickets from the box office at the Regent before Saturday. The presentations start at 9pm and will go on until 11.30pm.

If you never win competitions, tickets cost £30 and are available from the Regent’s box office here.
