Naylor to Watford - Ipswich Town News
TWTD has heard suggestions that Richard Naylor may be a target of Watford manager Gianluca Vialli. The Town striker is known to be unsettled after failing to command a regular first team place this season.
Naylor had an impressive pre-season, even scoring a hat-trick in the game with Dublin City. However, he was an unplaying substitute on the first day of the season at Sunderland, and, despite a scoring start against Derby, has not been a regular in the side.
He was left out of the squad for the Leicester game with rumours that he wanted away from Town starting to do the rounds. George Burley subsequently admitted the player had been in for a chat and said that they would "have to see what happens from here."
Vialli is looking to strengthen his squad in all areas and has only Marcus Gayle who would be seen as a similar player to Naylor.
