Carson Wins U21 Cap in Draw - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Josh Carson won his third Northern Ireland U21 cap as his side drew 0-0 in their first European Championships 2013 qualifier in the Faroe Islands this evening.
The match was the 17-year-old’s third international in a week having previously won his first two caps with the senior side in the Carling Nations Cup.
Released Town academy defender Rory McKeown was an unused sub against the Faroese, who missed an early penalty.
Northern Ireland U21s: Devlin, Clucas (Winchester 82), Hanley, Norwood, Ramsey, Hegarty, Grigg (Ball 72), Lund, Boyce, Magennis (Bryan 46), Carson. Unused: Drummond, McCashin, McKeown, Lawrie.
