Smith Out of New Zealand Friendlies - Ipswich Town News
Town defender Tommy Smith has been ruled out of New Zealand’s friendlies against Mexico and Australia with a back injury.
The 21-year-old centre-half, who was named the All Whites’ Men’s Young Player of the Year last week, was given an injection last week aimed at ridding him of an ongoing problem with a prolapsed disc.
New Zealand take on Mexico overnight and Australia on Sunday.
