The FA told TWTD this afternoon that a decision on Matteo Sereni's red card will be known as soon as possible. Earlier in the week reports suggested the card would be rescinded and again today there was a suggestion that the Town keeper wouldn't receive a ban.
The FA have released a list of all players suspended from Saturday and only Academy player Guy Bonwick's name appears under the Ipswich heading. Leicester's Lee Marshall does appear on the list.
However, we spoke to the FA today and they said Sereni's name should have appeared on the list and no official announcement had been made. They described his omission as "an oversight".
Has someone perhaps jumped the gun in removing Sereni's name?
