Trio in Northern Ireland Squad - Ipswich Town News
Town trio Josh Carson, Caolan Lavery and Cormac Burke have been named in the Northern Ireland U20 squad for the Elite section of the Milk Cup tournament in their home country next month.
The Northern Irish face Denmark on Monday 25th July and Georgia two days later, prior to the play-off matches and final, which take place on Friday 29th July.
Midfielder Carson has previously won caps at full and U21 levels, while striker Lavery has played for the U21s and midfielder Burke for the U19s.
Town are sending an academy U15 side to compete in the Junior section of the tournament. The young Blues face US side the South Coast Strikers on the Monday, County Antrim on the Tuesday and Queen of the South on the Wednesday.
