Clark Set for Blades Trial - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that released Town midfielder Billy Clark is to join newly-relegated Sheffield United on trial during pre-season. The 19-year-old was told he would not be offered new terms with the Blues at the end of the campaign.
Clark memorably reacted angrily to the decision via Twitter but was subsequently forgiven by manager Paul Jewell for his outburst.
The former Northgate High School pupil made three sub appearances for the Town first team having progressed from the academy, all towards the end of the 2009/10 season.
