Newcastle Linked With Treacy - Ipswich Town News
Newcastle United are reported to have made an enquiry regarding Preston North End left winger Keith Treacy, who is also understood to be on the Blues’ radar. Irish international Treacy looks certain to leave Deepdale this summer after their relegation to League One.
Yesterday, Lilywhites boss Phil Brown revealed that his club had received no firm bids for Treacy but that one Premier League club and three Championship sides had made enquiries.
Previously, the Blues, Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Burnley had been linked with the 22-year-old former Blackburn player.
