Murphy Set for QPR - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that former Town keeper Brian Murphy is set to join QPR having left Portman Road at the end of last season. Murphy has been weighing up whether to sign for Neil Warnock’s newly promoted Premier League club since the end of last season.
The 28-year-old Irishman opted against signing a new one-year contract on reduced terms at Portman Road prior to the final game of the season at Leicester.
Former Bohemians man Murphy is likely to be the third choice keeper at Loftus Road behind Paddy Kenny and Radek Cerny.
