Doncaster Back in For Quinn - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that Doncaster Rovers have renewed their interest in former Blues midfielder Alan Quinn. The 32-year-old was released at the end of the season, a groin injury having prevented him from playing a single first team game during 2010/11.
The Dubliner was close to joining Sean O’Driscoll’s club a year ago until he picked up what initially seemed only a minor niggle in the pre-season game at Leiston.
Quinn, who previously played in South Yorkshire with both Sheffield clubs, was back at Playford Road last week joining Paul Jewell's squad for pre-season training.
The former Irish international signed for Town from Sheffield United for £400,000 in January 2008.
