Ex-Town keeper Brian Murphy was in action for a QPR XI as they beat Carlsberg South West Peninsula Premier Division side Tavistock 13-0 last night. TWTD revealed that Murphy was interesting Neil Warnock’s newly-promoted Premier League side in May.
The Irishman was listed as a trialist on the teamsheet, although it’s understood the 28-year-old has already been offered a contract at Loftus Road.
Former Bohemians man Murphy turned down a new one-year Town deal on reduced terms prior to the final game of last season at Leicester.
