Town Announce Squad Numbers - Ipswich Town News

Town have announced the squad numbers for the season ahead. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has been handed Connor Wickham’s old number nine, while new loan keeper David Stockdale will wear his lucky number 13 with no one taking Brian Murphy’s old number one shirt.

Michael Chopra will wear the number 10 with Jason Scotland moving to 14. Icelandic central defender Ívar Ingimarsson gets Gareth McAuley’s old number four and midfielder Lee Bowyer the number eight worn by former skipper David Norris last season.

New left-back Aaron Cresswell has been handed the number three with Shane O’Connor, who looks to be moving on to Crawley where he was recently on trial or elsewhere this summer, demoted to number 23.
