Cropper\'s US and Town Kids Third at Milk Cup - Ipswich Town News
Academy keeper Cody Cropper's US side grabbed a 2-1 victory over Georgia in their third place play-off in the Elite section of the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland this afternoon. The Blues U15s also finished third in the Junior competition.
Cropper, 18, was an unused sub for today's game having been involved earlier in the tournament.
The Town youngsters beat Danish side FC Nordsjælland 3-1 in their third/fourth play-off in Castlerock.
Blues duo Caolan Lavery and Cormac Burke could help the Northern Ireland U19s to the Elite title this evening when the hosts take on Denmark in the final in Ballymena (BBC Two NI, Sky channel 992, 6pm).
