Join the 2011/12 TWTD Prediction League and Fantasy Leagues - Ipswich Town News
It’s that time again! You may have missed the first match of the season but you can still register for the TWTD Prediction League 2011/12.
The Prediction League is the same basic competition we’ve been running since August 2000. You predict the score and first scorer of each match and you get points based on your accuracy.
You get three points if you get the scoreline spot on plus a bonus of the number of goals in that game (so an accurate prediction of 1-3 would get you three points and a bonus of four).
If you don’t get the score right but correctly guess that it will be an away win, for example, you’ll be awarded one point. The Prediction League only covers league matches.
The overall winner of the competition will receive £150 of Amazon vouchers. Last year’s victor was KTBlue. Well done to him.
To get started, go to our Prediction League page and enter your predictions for Saturday's game at Bristol City (note anyone who made their prediction prior to today jumped the gun, so will need to re-enter). You can make any number of predictions for a match, but only the last one will count. So, if we sign another prospective 20-goal striker tomorrow, just log back in and change your prediction!
Meanwhile, TWTD Message Boarders are running two Fantasy Leagues, details here for the Football League competition and here.
