No Squad Number for Bullard - Ipswich Town News
Former Town loanee Jimmy Bullard has not been allocated a squad number by Hull City for the season ahead. The Blues 2010/11 Player of the Year appears certain to leave the KC Stadium this summer having recently been suspended by the Tigers for an alleged indiscretion during their pre-season trip to Slovenia.
The Blues were interested in re-signing the 32-year-old earlier in the close season but manager Paul Jewell ultimately decided the financial side of the deal was beyond the club.
Since then, Town have signed Lee Bowyer and are now targeting Blackburn’s Keith Andrews, so unless another central midfielder moves on, the Blues now appear unlikely to return for the ex-Peterborough, Fulham and Wigan man.
