2000 Helsingborgs Tickets! - Ipswich Town News

Helsingborgs have announced that they will give Town 2,000 tickets for the UEFA Cup second leg next month. This comes as a welcome surprise after it had appeared the Blues might get as few as 600 seats.

Helsingborgs' events manager, Malum Palssun, said: "We have never given away so many tickets to away supporters before. Ipswich Town have been on to us and have requested more tickets. We have looked into it and are pleased to help. I am happy to confirm that Ipswich will be allocated 2,000 tickets, and we are looking forward to seeing their supporters in our country. We expect that the game will be a sell-out and the atmosphere should be good."

Well done to Town for requesting more tickets and good on the Swedes for allowing more of us to see the game.

Town have not released any details of allocation as yet and are already planning official trips to Sweden once again using Sports Travel Management the people behind the official trips to Moscow.
