Duo Set for Caps - Ipswich Town News
Town duo Tamás Priskin and Josh Carson could win caps today with Hungary and the Northern Ireland U21s respectively.
Priskin, who has previously won 33 caps, scoring eight goals, will be on the bench when Hungary’s senior side face Iceland in a friendly this evening, while Carson would appear to be a certain starter for the Northern Irish youngsters when they take on the Faroe Islands in a Euro 2013 U21 qualifier at the Oval in Belfast this afternoon.
The 18-year-old already has three U21 caps in addition to his two appearances at full level.
Keeper David Stockdale was with the England squad but the match with Holland has been called off, while Damien Delaney was forced out of the Republic of Ireland squad for their friendly against Croatia with the ankle injury he sustained at Bristol City and which makes him a doubt for Saturday's match against his former club Hull City.
